Creating Memorable Events
A 2 Zee Events was founded by Zee in October 2009 to develop upscale events for professional women of color that love women in the LGBTQ community. Zee had been hosting social and sporting events for years prior to starting the company. The idea of starting A 2 Zee Events came into existence to formalize her popular social gatherings. She prides herself in hosting the highest quality parties, domestic and international trips and sport's leagues for professIonal women hat love women within the LGBQTQ+ community.
At the end of the day, Zee LOVES to have fun, and what better way to heighten the experience than with great company, family and friends. She is passionate about creating upscale, high quality experiences for the queer community. A 2 Zee Events is also passionate about giving back to the community through philanthropic initiatives, supporting various social and health causes throughout the year.

About the Founder
Zekeera “Zee” Belton was born and raised in Harlem, New York. She has been in the DC area for 20 years, moving to the DMV in 1999 to pursue her degree at Georgetown University. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a double major in Finance and Management. Zekeera has always had a passion for education, the arts (i.e., dance, poetry, music), travel, sports and community service. During the day she works as a Marketing Executive, helping Fortune 500 companies optimize how they go-to-market with gen-Z, millennial and multicultural consumers. …and at night and during the weekend she spends countless hours following her passion, developing a safe space for LGBTQ+ people in the DC Metro area to have a good time. She began hosting nightlife, travel and sporting events targeting a professional, urban, mature crowd and A 2 Zee Events was born, founded in October 2009.
As a burgeoning socialite in the DC Metro Area, she has been dedicated to delivering the highest quality social events in SAFE spaces for women that love women. She has also dedicated herself to giving back to the community through philanthropy from painting schools in DC, to feeding the homeless at DC shelters, to creating events to raise awareness and support social and health causes affecting the community (i.e., HIV/AIDS Awareness, Domestic Violence) she serves.

I can't believe I've been in the game for over 10 years bringing high quality grown and sexy events to the LBGTQ community!!!! I would like to thank all the club owners, DJs, promoters, bartenders, cashiers, web and flier designers, photographers and security I have worked with over the last 10 years...But most importantly I want to thank all the patrons/party-goers that have been rocking with me over the last decade, because without your support there is no vibe, no turn up, no A 2 Zee Events.
